How To Deal With Doubt & STOP it today!

The struggle is real! It’s almost feels like people don’t talk about this topic, if they are talking about it I’ve missed it, so, let’s chat!

Doubt, one of the tactics the enemy tries to use as an undercover weapon. You see doubt, it is a simple little tool that starts out as harmless, sly, and just like a little bit of an uncomfortable feeling. You almost don’t even realize it’s there until it starts wrecking havoc in your mind, your home, your walk with God and then, your destiny!

One thing I have noticed is that doubt will come as a sly thought that you almost do not know why you thought it, where it came from or caught you off guard totally. Next, you find your self having more thoughts like the original thought and slowly over time you begin to allow these thoughts to take root.

Without you knowing it, the thoughts keep coming, they have begun to take root, and now you have actually allowed yourself to believe things that once you would have shrugged off and not even gave the time of Day.

The Bible teaches us to be ware of a “little leaven” because it will truly ruin the whole lump! (Galatians 5:9)

Another very important thing to remember is that the word of God teaches us to take every thought into captivity. What I’m the world does that mean anyway? It means, to Think about…what you think about! What thoughts are coming into your mind? Are they in line with the word of God? Do they build up/edify the kingdom of God? Are they good?

“We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ” -2 Corinthians 10:5 NLT

You see one way the enemy plants doubt is by filling our lives with so much “business” that we have “no time” to be in the word of God. If we have no time for that and the next thing you know our prayer life is suffering and we have “no time” to be in prayer we then start to believe the lies and we begin to start doubting the things that we know to be true!

The first step to deal with doubt is to recognize it. Next, remove thoughts that do not line up with the word of God. Finally, replace the thoughts with scripture! Search the scriptures for some go to verses that you can stand on when these times come your way!

These are a few ways we can handle doubt when it creeps in. But we must be intentional!

Catch the thoughts, stay diligent, remove and replace them, remember, This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of doubt” -Galatians 5:9 NLT
